Acrylics
Asian calligraphy has always struck me as having a three dimensional appearance. With that in mind, I designed various versions of calligraphy, both hanging and free standing.

Haiku by Zen monk Ryōkan Taigu, said to be his death poem. Ura wo mise omote wo misete ochiru momiji. Showing back/front/it falls/maple leaf. Original calligraphy by Yoko Nishina. Scanned, connected, vectored, and reproduced in laser-cut polycarbonate.
