One of the many depictions of the bodhisattva Kannon (Guan Yin). In this mode, the six arms are to help living beings suffering in the six modes of existence. The pose shows the right knee bent up with the foot resting on the left. Occasionally the left leg dangles down.

Kannon images of this type hold the wishing jewel, the wheel of the law, a lotus bud, and mala beads.
